Now. Under "Settings" => "Basic" you can check "Add thumbnails"
Could I use this feature allow people to *rank* pictures explicitly?

all of my thumbnails are missing and I have enabled thumb nails check out socialpreneur/slinkset.com
Thanks. It looks like none of the links on your site have the "Thumb URL" field set. We only automatically generate thumbnails from a small number of URLs (like those for youtube.com videos). For the majority of URLs you need to also enter a "Thumb URL" pointing at an image to get a thumbnail to show up. I apologize that that was unclear.
I signed up to snapcasa so I could use thumb nails, I have submitted the link, I have clicked enable thumb nails but still no images.
Slinkset processes the thumbnails before we display them. Because your snapcasa account is tied to embedding the images directly on a certain domain, our request to get the image from them directly for processing fails.
Snapcasa looks pretty interesting however, we might look into using some sort of integration.
