(1) Add a link on posts to "post on Twitter." Not post every article, but rather articles that a viewer chooses. In this case URLs should be auto-tinied.
(2) In cases where category is required, allow admin to associate a default category to each feed (as opposed to now it just assumes the first feed alphabetically). Alternatively, drop in feeds without any category.
(3) Add a system generated category called "unassigned." Give the option for admin to decide whether this category filter is viewable to only admin/moderator or to all user classes.

(1) Does it make sense to post the link to the direct article, or post the link that goes back to the post on the slinkset page?
(3) We actually talked about something like this right after categories were implemented. Good idea.
From a user perspective, I think it makes sense to post the direct URL to the story.
